Moren made certain that install would be easy with clear instructions and tool! If your old unit is removed, it will only take 20 minutes or less. The finish is perfect, not too shiny, and the hose weight makes operation of sprayer seamless. I had installed a cheap faucet previously and regret it now....this replacement will last for years.
This is a great faucet for the money, I have a second one in a new house and loved it so much I got another for my condo.
This is a wonderful faucet. I have had it for a few weeks now and would not trade it for anything different. It is a nice simple design and does not show any water marks. Faucet Depot beat all competitors on pricing hands down.
I installed in my own kitchen, replacing a traditional faucet with separate sprayer. This one sprays great, and switches from spray back to stream when you shut it off. I should have bought a better quality filler plug for the abandoned 4th sprayer hole. I bought spot-free stainless finish which looks and cleans great, but since it's not an exact match for my older Elkay stainless sink, maybe another finish would be better. I like the pulldown better than pullout style I've used before, because any water on your hands drains into the sink rather than back down the hose. I doubt this faucet would be durable in a commercial setting; a lot of internals are plastic to eliminate any chance of lead in the waterways. I would have bought the Moen 159060 Hose Guide if FaucetDepot carried it and I'd known about it, instead having to make one out of an aluminum sheet, because my drain trap and water lines are centered below the faucet.
The most difficult aspect of installation was removing the old faucet. Moen includes the perfect tool for tightening the lockdown nut in the product carton.
The product came complete and was very easy to install. It was installed in less than 10 minutes. I am using it in my home kitchen and it is easy to use and cleans up very well.
Looks good and is easy to install. They even include a wrench to tighten nut behind the sink. Works well.
DID MY RESEARCH AND NARROWED MY CHOICES TO FOUR, BUT ELIMINATED DELTA MY CURREBT LEAKING FAUCET AFTER 9 YRS. THIS MOEN HAD THE BEST REVIEWS AND BRAND HAS GREAT REPUTATION
I have never written a review on anything, but felt compelled to warn others. Had this faucet installed by a professional plumber just under a year ago. The handle started leaking like crazy so bad we had to turn the water off to it. Moen was supposed to have a replacement part here a week after we called them and now today they said it will be a few more days. That "limited lifetime warranty" is definately limited. I am guessing it is taking this long to get this part due to high demand!I have ultimatley decided to eat the cost of this junk faucet and buy a plumber recommended Delta this time.
Great product. They even supply a tool to tighten the nut under the sink. Easy installation and works great.
